No heat needed & non toxic polish strips. Easy to apply & remove & wears 10 -14 days, depending on your use of your hands. A topcoat of clear polish or gel can help to extend the wear time...just wait at least 2 hrs or more to apply. Also, keep hands dry (recommended for 20 minutes) I usually wait at least 2 hrs.  Wash your hands with dish soap (I use original Dawn, it doesn't have any added lotions etc) dry, & swab with alcohol before applying. Having clean & oil free nails is probably the most important step to a beautiful manicure.
